What Your Day Looks Like
- Update and maintain general ledgers, account reconciliation and other records detailing financial business transactions.
- Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.
- Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial challenges..
- Report financial information to company managment.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes.
Prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process as needed.
- Critical attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of US GAAP principles
- Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work efficiently
- Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- (3) years experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice.
- Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a good understanding of financial systems.
